CityConnexx is a custom mission experience like no other. We connect urban and suburban churches by matching your group's talents, desires and DNA to an inner city or Native American ministry. You live, work and worship in one of America's at-risk neighborhoods while under the supervision and care of ministry staff that know the area and culture.
Sponsored by Compassion International, CityConnexx invites youth, adults, families and college groups to serve in the city or on Native American reservations to connect the body of Christ in love and compassion. The Body of Christ has been divided for too long...our hope and prayer is that servant ministry trips will heal the divide and offer real long-term relationships. We've found that when you intentionally and sacrificially work, eat, serve, worship, pray and play together, the walls come tumbling down very quickly.
Groups sign up to serve a seven-day full-blown urban immersion. Sometimes it's more like a submersion into cross-cultural experience and living in community together. Come join us as a dynamic and impactful part of God's Kingdom to fulfill Jesus' prayer, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
