How Can I Help?

By matching funds for after-school and summer programs through local ministries and by providing training and networking opportunities, YouthPartnersNET helps to restore hope and self-esteem to the neediest communities. With the help of one-time and monthly donors, YouthPartnersNET will match funds raised by qualified local and regional programs that have met YPN's criteria of excellence and maximum number of children and youth served. What YouthPartnersNET donors should know:

How are my contributions used?

The support you send to YouthPartnersNET is invested in the networking, education and recreation, and training programs of YouthPartnersNET and our ministry partners. YPN looks for the most effective opportunities to help disadvantaged children and youth in cities, in rural areas, and on Native American reservations. Funds are distributed according to greatest need.

Does YPN have an individual child sponsorship program?

YPN does not have a one-on-one program. We have continued the tradition of Compassion's USA Ministry and are able to serve more children and youth by investing in the networking, education and recreation, and training programs of YPN and our ministry partners.

Do I have to commit to a monthly donation or a specific amount?

Our donor program does not restrict the amount or frequency of your donation. It is our goal to provide you with program opportunities that serve children and youth living in high-risk communities in America and we trust you to determine how much and how often you give.

How does your automated payment plan work?

YPN has an automated payment plan that is secure and is deducted from your checking account or placed on your credit card on the 20th of each month. You determine the amount and may cancel at any time.

Can I specifically designate my gift?

If you would like to give a gift to a specific program, it is possible to designate that gift by noting the fund with your donation. Otherwise, your donation will go toward our Annual Drive which supports all of our programs and is distributed according to greatest need.

  • CityConnexx Fund: this fund supports our mission program where we match suburban church and college groups to serve in America's at-risk communities
  • Urban Scholarship Fund: send the youth from our ministry partners on a CityConnexx mission experience of their own where they serve other at-risk youth
  • Native American Fund: this fund, also known as the Rich Mullins Fund, provides assistance through grants to our Native American ministry partners.
  • Urban Bible Fund: help put in the hands of our children and youth our most valuable resource - the My City, My God New Testament urban youth bible.
  • After School Programs Fund: support our ministry partners' after school programs which provide the kids with a safe, adult-supervised place to go after school where they are provided with food, tutoring, mentoring, and love in a Christian atmosphere.
  • Summer Day Camps Fund: support our ministry partners' summer day camp programs where kids are provided with additional activities, sports camps and mentoring during their summer break.
  • Executive Director Training Fund: this fund provides scholarships for our ministry partners to attend our Executive Director Leadership Training events throughout the country.

Will I receive several mailings if I donate?

YPN acknowledges receipt of every donation with a letter from the President that includes monthly stories and pictures. You will also receive a year-end giving statement in January which provides your annual total for tax purposes along with highlights from the year. In July, our Annual Stewardship Report is made available to all donors. If you prefer to only receive the year-end giving statement in January, let us know.

Can I get personally involved with a ministry partner?

If you are interested in visiting a faith-based ministry in your area, the answer is yes! Please contact us to receive information about how to get involved in your part of the country.

How else may I help?

We ask that you pray for the children and youth living in America's high-risk communities, youth workers and leaders that have dedicated their lives to these kids, and the staff and volunteers that maintain these ministries and programs.
