Efrem Smith to Challenge Denver CW as General Session Speaker
YouthPartnersNET has indicated that Efrem Smith will provide the Saturday night General Session challenge to the Denver CompassionWorks conference on November 13, 2004. The first-ever Denver edition of CompassionWorks will be held November 12-14, 2004 at the OMNI Interlocken Hotel.
CompassionWorks is designed to train children and youth urban workers/leaders while enjoying great inspirational speakers and worship and praise sessions, according to Dean Cowles, YouthPartnersNET President. The Denver CompassionWorks attendees will enjoy four general sessions and over 40 workshops/seminars all centered around the conference theme of "Got Your Back!"
Efrem Smith began serving as a Part-Time Itinerant Speaker with Kingdom Building Ministries in the mid-1990's. Through his use of humor, storytelling, and dissection of scripture, Efrem clearly communicates messages focused on racial reconciliation, lifestyle choices, and the heart of missions. Efrem's full-time ministry post is serving as senior pastor at the Sanctuary Covenant Church in Minneapolis, MN.
