Kid kills kid over graffiti!

Meaningless, senseless, demonic! I'm sure we could come up with a few more choice words for what is going on in the world of gangs and graffiti, but on to today's blog.

It has just been reported that a 14 year old boy, shot and killed a 13 year old child while wounding a 19 year old young man. Why, you ask? Not over the "make my day law", not because these kids were harming him or a family member and he had no other choice but to defend himself or others, not for any constitutional, biblical or God given right, no! This 14 year old boy Murdered a 13 year old child, because his graffiti got covered up... Not covered in the sense of "dissing" or someone else marking territory, nope not at all, this kid went looking for the person who simply cover up the graffiti because he was cleaning up the neighborhood and when he found him he chased him shot him, chased him again, found the house he was hiding in, went to the door, knocked on it and shot the 13 year old child in the head as he answered the door, killing him instantly. Read the story here.

Has it really come to this? Are the children of this generation so death desensitised that life means absolutely nothing? Is a life in the eyes of those blinded by gangs worth no more than a 0.99 cent marker? I only say 0.99 cents so you can see how little life means to these gang kids, because we all know if you are in a gang, have the mindset to destroy someones property by graffiti and murder someone for cleaning up your mess, then you didn't spend the 0.99 cents, you stole the marker, so therefore life means nothing! Are the parents of these kids too busy, too scared, too ignorant, too passive, in disbelief or what, that these children are not just joining gangs but committing murders?

For years upon multiplied years the glorification and promotion of gangs, drugs and murder have been allowed to rule neighborhoods and mindsets all in the name of so called entertainment or some jackass form of respect... I remember a wise man once saying "you better be careful of what you create, cause you gonna mess around and create something you can't control" That one little quote of knowledge is alive and well today and coming to a neighborhood near you!!!
