Built on the belief that the hope of children and youth living high-risk communities can be restored and their potential be released in Jesus' name through focused partnerships with local church and community organizations, YouthPartnersNET [YPN] launched its nationwide ministries July 1, 2003. With over 30 years of life-changing ministry as Compassion International's USA Ministry, YPN continues to partner with hundreds of local and regional organizations strategically targeting the development of three key areas: Networking, Education and Training.

YouthPartnersNET Receives Funding for EDLT
Denver, CO October 27, 2006 - YouthPartnersNET received confirmation from The Crowell Trust that they have accepted our proposal to fund our Executive Director Leadership Training program.
In order to most effectively serve and minister to our nation’s at-risk children and youth, these organizations must be vibrant, financially secure and staffed with highly qualified individuals. The reality is the leadeship of these organizations frequently are called to be "jacks of all trades" yet suffer from being a "master of none". Combined with high burn out rates and turnover, this leads to a weakness that not only affects the organizations directly, but their constituents also suffer its effects.
For these reasons, YPN hosts two-day Executive Director Leadership Trainings across the country covering crucial topics such as grant writing, board and staff development, and capacity building. With this increased funding, YPN will be able to promote more trainings in the rocky mountain region and plains.
YouthPartnersNET is a network of ministries serving children and youth in America’s high-risk communities. Formerly Compassion International’s USA ministry, YPN has over 130 Ministry Partners. For more information about YPN, contact Shelley Wallen at 1.800.334.KIDS or via email here.
