YPN Continues to Work with the White House

Washington DC June 1, 2007 - YouthPartnersNET was invited to speak directly with the White House for a third time! Our relationship with Jay Hein, Director of the White House Office for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives has resulted in a another private conference call with our network of ministry partners.

Our ministry partners continue to ask for this valuable resource as they are given vital information about the federal funding available for faith-based organizations and how to work their way through the bureaucratic process to reach successful results – approved grants! Time is always provided to answer the many questions asked by the ministry partners.

This White House Office has a true desire to serve these front-line ministries which is evident by their generosity in working directly with our ministry partners. YPN looks forward to future opportunities to work with the Office for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.

YouthPartnersNET is a network of ministries serving children and youth in America’s high-risk communities. Formerly Compassion International’s USA ministry, YPN has over 130 Ministry Partners. For more information about YPN, contact Shelley Wallen at 1.800.334.KIDS or via email here.
