Built on the belief that the hope of children and youth living high-risk communities can be restored and their potential be released in Jesus' name through focused partnerships with local church and community organizations, YouthPartnersNET [YPN] launched its nationwide ministries July 1, 2003. With over 30 years of life-changing ministry as Compassion International's USA Ministry, YPN continues to partner with hundreds of local and regional organizations strategically targeting the development of three key areas: Networking, Education and Training.

Ed / Rec Strategies: Recreation Unlimited
Re-Creation Unlimited is supported in part by YPN partners. Director and founder Jim Galanaugh reports on one of this year’s weeklong schools that ran from July 3—August 31.
Re-Creation Unlimited (RU) is a cutting-edge ministry providing inner-city children the opportunity to learn the game of basketball in a safe and caring environment. RU also trains and empowers inner-city high school youth to coach young children in Mexico, Peru, the greater Denver area, and the Native American reservation in South Dakota.
Dear YouthPartnersNET family:
An exciting accomplishment for RU is the successful completion of our inaugural camp in Aurora, CO, the Elementary Basketball School. The courts were packed with excitement and enthusiasm. The children had a hunger to learn and listen to instruction from the staff and coaches.
The last day of camp proved to be the most rewarding when each child received special awards for individual attitudes and talents.
I personally want to express my appreciation and support to YouthPartnersNET and their partners. Re-Creation Unlimited shares in the passion and excitement for their vision and looks forward to assisting that vision in every way. Thank you for assisting us in realizing our vision too!
Sincerely in His grip,
Jim Galanaugh

YPN NOTE:
RU in partnership with the Denver Nuggets also filled the floor of the NBA Pepsi Center November 1 for an evangelistic basketball camp. They received recognition and a special grant from the state of Colorado and were featured in the Rocky Mountain newspaper for the great work they are doing. This is just another example of the networking and capacity building activities of our YPN partners in their own communities!
