Built on the belief that the hope of children and youth living high-risk communities can be restored and their potential be released in Jesus' name through focused partnerships with local church and community organizations, YouthPartnersNET [YPN] launched its nationwide ministries July 1, 2003. With over 30 years of life-changing ministry as Compassion International's USA Ministry, YPN continues to partner with hundreds of local and regional organizations strategically targeting the development of three key areas: Networking, Education and Training.

Training Strategies
Providing national, regional, and local training to key program staff working and volunteering in high-risk communities is YPN's core training strategy. This strategy encompasses various existing and developing training events.
With the help of major donors, exhibitors, and co-sponsors, YPN will continue the regional training conferences originated as CompassionWorks. These conferences have trained thousands over the past years. We equip and encourage staff, build citywide and regional clusters of YPN partners, and enlist new sites to join the YPN network.
YPN also assists Mission America, Urban Ministries Inc., Project Equip, Urban Youth Workers Institute, National Association of Street Schools, Boot Camp, Christian Community Development, and others. Child and Youth Development Institutes are held as needed for the local training and program quality assurance of YPN ministry sites. While attendance consists primarily of staff from YPN sites and emerging local networks and contacts, the staff of other urban ministries is also welcome. And as YPN's networks develop, the Executive Director Leadership School will be an annual four-day certificate training event specifically designed for executive directors of urban, rural, and Native American ministries.
