YPN NetCall
NETcall is a FREE conference call resource we provide to our network of ministry partners on a quarterly basis. We invite speakers to address important topics such as fundraising, urban ministry management, website and communication. In the past we have hosted calls with the White House Office of Faith Based & Community Initiatives and Rev. Eric Foley of Mission Increase Foundation. We now have the ability to record these calls and post them for the entire ministry partner network to listen to and learn from.

Ministry Partners
Our network of ministry partners includes faith-based organizations throughout the nation, dedicated to serving the children and youth in their high-risk communities. Though they may be from differing urban, rural or Native American communities, they all have one common goal: to provide an environment that fosters academic, emotional and spiritual development.
Our children and youth need targeted, individualized attention from caring adults, a safe environment to escape the influences of the streets and gangs, opportunities to practice marketable skills, exploration of meaningful activities that are relevant to them and encouragement to participate in serving others. Our ministry partners dedicate their lives to providing these kids with a nurturing, loving, Christ-centered environment.
YPN strives to provide our ministry partners with the funding, resources and support they need to be effective in their ministry.
Are you a Ministry Partner? Join the NET!
YPN often works with national partners consistent with our mission. On occasion we share our ministry partner list with other like minded organizations in attempt to provide your ministry with resources that may benefit your mission.
Denver Network
Each month between 20-30 front line workers gather together for networking and resources at YPN's sponsored lunch in Denver for a total of more than 150 individuals from various local ministries. We bring in special speakers and funding resources to encourage our partners and expand their networks as well as advertise their youth events, fundraising events, prayer requests and volunteer opportunities.

Colorado Springs, CO Network
We are very excited to announce a new partnership with the I-25 Alliance, led by several of our ministry partners in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. YPN was invited to join this pre-existing network of inner-city ministries to support the outreach and programs designed to reach children and youth living in the high-risk communities in Southern Colorado.
This new partnership was launched in June 2007 with monthly meetings sponsored by YPN. We look forward to the development of this group as they continue to meet in this new YPN region.
National Partnerships
YPN has a network of national partnerships that offer funding, training, resources, services and support to our network of ministry partners. Through our national connections, we are able to funnel these valuable resources down to a local level where they can be implemented and maximized to reach more children and youth living in high-risk communities.

Below are a few examples of how YPN's national partnerships impacted our ministry partners this year:
- White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives – due to Dean Cowles' long-term friendship with the newly appointed Director, Jay Hein, YPN and our network of ministry partners have been given special access to the White House. 49 ministry leaders have attended two conferences calls to date. This connection provides crucial information on federal and state funding and other services available to faith-based organizations as well as specifics on how to tap into these resources. We have heard exceptional reviews from our network about this opportunity and are excited to continue it in the future.
- Lifeway Church Resources/M-Fuge – this partnership has offered a tremendous value to our ministry partners in Chicago through the Urban Connexx project. See Education/Recreation section for more details on YPN's new CityConnexx program!
- International Bible Society – due to our long-term partnership with IBS, they provided a unique opportunity for our kids to submit artwork and testimonies for their new edition of My City, My God, the number one resource for our inner-city ministry partners. We are very excited to use this new edition being released this summer. IBS is also providing $300 Scripture Grants to every ministry that attends our EDLT from 1/07 through 9/07.

- TechMission – a Christian nonprofit established within Christian Community Development Association was created in 2000 to support Christian organizations in using technology to transform vulnerable communities. Their programs are available to our ministry partners and include AC4 Computer Centers, TechMission Safe Families which protects at-risk kids from online pornography and other internet dangers, TechMission Corps internships in urban youth ministry, TechMission Christian Volunteering website matching individuals to ministries across the country.
- Community Plus – provides YPN and our network of ministry partners with the free "Shop and Give Back” fundraising program. This online shopping mall allows staff, board members, volunteers, donors, family and friends to make their purchases online donating a portion of each sale to the ministry of their choice. This is a great way for ministries to raise additional funds with little time involvement and provides their donors with the opportunity to give at no additional cost. A win-win for everyone.
- FASTEN Initiative – they continue to provide technical assistance for our ministry partners who have completed the ED Training. Their website (FASTENNetwork.org) is a great site for ministry resources.
- JDLevy Associates – in addition to writing one of the manuals offered in our ED Training, this organization offers every YPN ED Alumni their exclusive e-resource free including valuable research, statistics, and tips on fundraising, management and leadership for the non-profit industry.
- eTapestry – offers cost effective web-based donor management and fundraising database services to our ministry partners.
- God Style Productions - provides a monthly training article on our website for urban ministries providing tips and current trends on how to reach urban youth in the Christian, Hip-Hop and Rap cultures.
- Straight Street Design - provides monthly internet resources on our website and free consultation for our ministry partners to maximize their ministry websites.
